Reporting a concern to the Guild
If you have a safeguarding concern relating to a Guild member, event or activity, contact our safeguarding lead through the contact page (choose "Safeguarding"). Concerns about a child or adult at risk in the community should be reported to the local authority or police.
Our commitments
- We will respond to every concern promptly and record it securely.
- We will share information with statutory agencies where the law requires or permits it.
- Guild staff and volunteers who work directly with children or adults at risk will have appropriate checks and training.
- Safeguarding concerns raised through the employment-support service are handled by authorised staff and may be referred to the appropriate authority where required.
